When it comes to armoring, it is important to know that there are many different levels of protection. Starting from Level B1 through B6, armoring companies can offer you varying levels of protection, based on your individual safety and security needs. The different levels also give you protection from different types and forms of ballistics.

Based on your requirements, we will offer you armoring recommendations. All our armoring techniques, materials and equipments comply with the European CEN 1522/23 and CEN 1063 standards. We offer armoring for both transparent and opaque areas of your vehicles. To begin the armoring process, we first strip the cars completely. The car is then filled in with composite, allow and ballistic proof materials. High quality steel and glass armors are filled into all sides of the passenger compartment and the roof of the vehicle. The highest level of armoring – B6 level, is ideal for defeating 7.62x51mm M80 Nato Ball ammunition as well as 5.56×45 SS109 ammunition.

The opaque areas of your vehicle are reinforced with ballistic proof materials, and the thickness may vary according to levels of protection required. The armoring protects your vehicle from 90 degree impacts from several different weapons. At the highest level of protection, all opaque areas of the vehicle are protected from firepower from Calibre 7.62 x 39 mm, FJ/PB/FeC, AK 47 Kalashnikov, Calibre 5.56 x 45 mm, FJ/PB/SCP, M16 Colt, Calibre 7.62 x 51 mm, FJ/PB/SC, (FN) “FAL” / “LAR” and NATO rifles.

The armoring is first integrated into the cab of the vehicle, where it is made into a completely self supporting structure. The interior frame is armored so that it provides adequate mounting for the armour components – especially the large ones, which may overlap with each other. Armor plates are then inserted into the doors and windows. Finally, mounting points for the hinges are reinforced and the door pillars are armored to protect them from getting damaged. In built door stops are added with heavy duty hinges. After the main body of the vehicle is armored, run flat armor is inserted into the tyres. This allows the vehicle to keep running for an additional 80 to 90 kms, even if the tyres burst. Steel armored plates are inserted into the fuel tank. Further armoring is performed on the battery and the control modules of the vehicle.

Starting from level B4, the armoring technology remains the exact same. However, the thickness of the materials used, and the number of layers added for protection continue to change. The higher the level of protection and armoring, the more the number of layers inserted into the armoring. This is applicable for both the opaque and transparent parts of your vehicle.
